In an effort to bridge the gap that can sometimes exist between classroom and industry, IRTS provides an annual opportunity for university educators to meet with senior media and entertainment executives. It's an ideal opportunity to discuss the state of business and the latest decisions being made. The generosity of companies and individuals has made it possible for us to underwrite this unique educational experience for more than three decades. IRTS extends a big thank you to the session leaders who took part in our most recent seminar: THE ART OF REACHING CONSUMERS IN THE DIGITAL AGE: NOVEMBER 15 & 16, 2011 The digital media landscape offers more tools and platforms to reach consumers than ever before, and the next generation of professionals must have a comprehensive understanding of how to help their employers harness the full potential of this increasingly complex environment. Our sessions included: THE DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM Faculty in attendance from schools across the nation received an in-depth look at how today's senior media executives: -Manage big idea generation for digital, mobile, and social platforms to extend their traditional reach -Master the ecosystem of brand marketing -Create unique opportunities for their advertisers -Make hiring decisions on recent graduates -Translate client needs into actionable ideas -Are preparing for and/or helping to define the future of advertising Faculty interested in applying for the next IRTS Faculty Seminar can download an application off this website in the second quarter of 2012. Educators have labeled the Faculty/Industry Seminar "the most sought after and visible activity of the year." Click Here to learn more about the program's rich history. Themes vary each year.
